It really is a super nursery and even though we live in Margate with nursery’s far closer my other son will definitely be going here as well when he’s old enough.   • "My son has been to 4 Nurserys, the first two he wasn’t at for long as he seemed very unhappy and like he couldn’t settle there. He then went to a third which we loved but it closed suddenly with no warning at all, this was a traumatic time for me as a parent, everything he knew was gone and I was so worried about how he would cope, having to leave all his safe grownups and all of his friends, the setting was also tiny and I worried that most other nurseries were much bigger and that he would become just a number somewhere. I knew that one of the staff members had gone to Under One Roof a few months before and decided to go and have a look (I looked at every single nursery in Ramsgate but none compared). From the minute he stepped foot in the building at U1R he looked happy and comfortable, I have never had an episode of him not wanting to go to nursery as he absolutely loves it there. Every single person who has looked after him has built a relationship with him and spent real time with him, he loves all of the staff and will often take his time getting into his room or leaving because he’s chatting with the ladies in the hallways! Beth is Phoenix’s key person and an absolute diamond, Phoenix thinks that Beth is the best person ever he speaks about her every day, her attentiveness, care and ability to give children structure and ensure they follow rules, all whilst making it a fun and exciting environment is incredible. I cannot thank Beth enough for her hard work with Phoenix she has taught him so much and supported him through some of his more difficult times like potty training! Beth, Bailey and Bradley in his room are all fantastic, Phoenix was definitely excited when Bradley started as he loves male company so to have a man in his room at nursery was so much fun! Honestly, I cannot recommend the nursery enough, if you want your child to be important and loved throughout those crucial years then definitely go and have a look, you won’t regret it!!"

  • "When we first started looking at nursery’s, I was an anxious wreck. I’m a first time mum who wasn’t 100% comfortable with the idea of nursery but it was something we had to do. So anxious that, when we viewed U1R Nursery, I had to view it twice to be sure and write down a list of questions. It is an understatement to say the least that the staff at U1R made me feel so at ease and couldn’t have been more accommodating to my nerves. They answered every question, guided me through the process and updated me along the way. Harper has thrived since being at nursery, she started at 10 months and is now 16 months and she has come on leaps and bounds. Her speech is amazing, she enjoys the activities and she is so settled there that she never wants to leave! Katie who leads the baby room has gone above and beyond to make Harper feel welcome and settled, and I couldn’t wish for a better team to look after my child. Harper has a gross motor delay and again, the support that has been put in place for her, has been remarkable. Sophie and the team have absolutely smashed it at U1R and I can’t wait to see what more they pull out the bag! If you’re looking for a nursery with great communication, support for your child AND the parents, high focus on play, development and education then U1R is the one to choose."

  • "Our childcare for our son changed with very short notice and we were so apprehensive about sending him to nursery at 9 months old however this was the only solution we had that would work around our work schedules. We had never left him with anyone he didn't know but from the moment Sophie gave us a tour of the nursery we knew it would he the perfect fit for him. We didn't even look at other nurseries! He was even able to start with a month's notice which I'm so thankful for. I cannot thank the team enough for what they are doing. Katie, his key worker (and everyone in the baby room) has been absolutely incredible at settling him in and he has come leaps and bounds since the first day and doesn't stop babbling! Nursery has also made him love food more than he already did. Being a first time mum, naturally I'm nervous about whether I'm doing the right thing, however the whole nursery is such a positive setting so I have absolutely no nerves dropping him off as I know he is in safe hands. The regular updates to his development are fantastic, I absolutely love seeing what he's been up to during the day. Sophie and the incredible team at U1R, keep smashing it!"

His key worker Amy has built such a strong bond with him. Finleys social skils have come on leaps and bounds and he has made so many friends. The light, spacious, activity filled rooms and welcoming smiley staff were exactly what we wanted. Since starting her nusery journey back in October, our little girl has settled well and now cannot wait to get out of the car when we arrive in the mornings. The staff are amazing and so accommodating to not only our little one’s needs but ours as a family. The daily updates via the Famly app are also a wonderful added touch.   • "My 2 children attend U1R nursery age 1 & 4. We have been with the nursery just over a year and have 0 complaints! My 4 year old has autism and I feel extremely comfortable with the staff who care and look after him. He has absolutely thrived and always looks forward to going. As a parent that is all you can ask for! My youngest started at 7 months old (I was a nervous wreck!) but I very quickly felt very relaxed and safe with him also being in the staffs care. They are both extremely happy with the nursery and are always learning new things! I love they use the app to communicate with parents as due to the nature of my job I cannot always answer the phone so I love being able to see what they are up to / have eaten / have slept / any communication that I can still do when at work, I find this really reassuring!"

  • "Sending Luna to U1R nursery was by far our best decision for placement for when they first opened. She has been attending for over a year now (having previously attended 2 different settings) and is now absolutely thriving. Within 2 weeks she had completely settled and was running off and in to her room without even looking back, whereas previously she was taking months to even settle. The clean, open and nuturing space the nursery provides, alongside open acess to outdoor play has been pivotal in Luna's development. She has now been going to the nursery for a year and has formed such a lovely bond with her key workers.   • "I cannot speak highly enough about U1R Nursery Thanet! The staff are so friendly, reassuring and provide the best care tailored especially for my Ronnie. When Ronnie finds it hard to express his feelings, the staff spend one to one time with him and have made flash cards to find out exactly what he needs. I feel Ronnie is safe at all times, his confidence has grown greatly since attending nursery and he absolutely loves going! Ronnie has made some special bonds with the staff, especially Amanda who is amazing with him! Thank you all!"

  • "My daughter joined U1R nursery when she had just turned 10 months. She settled very quickly and goes into nursery happily, smiling at everyone as she arrives! I feel the staff in her room really know her and work hard to meet her needs, staff around the nursery also know her and greet her by name. Having updates via the app is so helpful as I know what she has eaten and how much she has slept as well as activities she has enjoyed. The environment of the nursery is lovely throughout and there is a calm atmosphere. There are lots of opportunities for learning through a wide range of activities including sensory play, gross and fine motor activities. I feel really happy with the decision to send Imogen to under 1 roof nursery and feel happy dropping her off somewhere she is safe, happy and well cared for."

  • "We joined Under 1 Roof Thanet Nursery when our little one was only just 9 months old. It took a lot of strength to let go of her at such young age, especially to a place which was so new and which not many people heard much of at the time - however, having attended an open evening, having observed the environment and met the staff, we were confident that this was the place we wanted to see our little one to develop and grow at. We followed our gut instinct and we never looked back.   • "After looking around Under 1 Roof nursery with my friend (for her son,) I immediately loved it, the staff were so welcoming and my son went straight off and played. He was already at a nursery, but I just got a feel when I looked around so signed him up and I’m so glad I did. He’s so confident now and loves being at nursery. I love the updates and I always feel heard, which as a parent, is huge when it comes to their development and happiness. He loves telling me about his day when I pick him up and the way he speaks about the staff and children shows me how settled he is. The best move we made was sending Bodhi here, he’s such a bubbly, confident little boy and I have to say, I think the activities, atmosphere and staff have contributed to that massively! "
